Special Needs Music is a branch of Greenvale Music School that provides Autism aware music classes/therapy children with developmental disabilities.
Music stimulates brain activity and can provide calm within special-needs children.
Lessons are conducted one on one with the owner Jenaye who is a Qualified Music Teacher Certified by Amaze (Autism Victoria) to Support individuals with autism spectrum disorder and associated communication disabilities.
We also do in school workshops.
Sessions are based on individual needs and range from:
Introduction to Instrumental Awareness & Ability
Introduction to Singing Awareness & Ability
Professional Instrumental
Professional Singing
Private music lessons assist in the development of:
Communication
Attention to person
Attention to task
Social connection
Confidence and possible music talent.
